Depuis
deux ans, Lech Kowalski s'intéresse aux problèmes rencontrés par
les petits fermiers dans la partie orientale de la Pologne, à la
frontière avec l'Ukraine. Une région agricole généreuse, « le
poumon de la Pologne ». Une région dont le sous-sol serait très
riche en gaz de schiste, ce qui laisse craindre de nouveaux
bouleversements : si les géants de l'industrie énergétique y
installent des puits de forage, comme ils ont l'intention de le
faire, c'est la vie de milliers fermiers locaux qui va basculer.
Lech
Kowalski plante alors sa caméra dans le village de Zurawlóv. Son
maire, Emil Jablonski, et la gérante d'une imprimerie, Basia
Siegienczuk, mobilisent les habitants des communes alentours contre
Chevron, qui souhaite construire un puits de forage dans la localité.
Réunions d'information, meetings, pétitions, recours à la presse.
Car le nerf de la guerre se joue là : les fermiers ne savent presque
rien sur le gaz de schiste. Ils se laissent amadouer par Chevron et
la propagande gouvernementale ambiante : ce gaz permettrait à la
Pologne de gagner son indépendance énergétique, enfin ! Lech
Kowalski nous propose alors plusieurs détours par la Pennsylvanie,
où des milliers de puits sont déjà installés : eau souillée,
nuisances sonores dues à la multiplication du trafic - qui détruit
l'infrastructure routière -, maladies physiques et psychiques
induites.
Conscients
de ces risques aux conséquences imprévisibles à long terme, Emil
et Basia poursuivent leur mission sans relâche, apprenant sur le
terrain à s'organiser et à se battre contre les Goliath du XXIe
siècle.

Et la semaine prochaine l'on nous proposera un debat (tronqué) sur... par exemple: les medicaments generiques... avec toutes les parties concernees NON REPRESENTEES.

ce documentaire sur Arte est assez faussé : 3 invités = 1 journaliste + j. bove tous deux CONTRE le gaz et 1 Seul politicien polonais (?) POUR.
ce debat ne represente qu'une toute petite partie des faits. Dans d'autres secteurs les forages d'EXPLORATION se realisent. J.Bove survole (comme souvent pour ne pas dire tjs) les faits... comme la plupart des journalistes ! Aucun ingenieur/technicien sur le plateau ! J.Bove precise que l'on va faire un puits tous les +/- 300m ! Heresie !, lui qui parle UK devrait connaitre le/les clusters... A partir d'une plateforme (130m x 150m) l'on fait plusieurs puits...etc.
Conclusion: Doc. pas tres objectif.
